WE ARE BACK

Hello, hello, hello to everyone!
We are back and I am really happy to be here again. I will share some photos with Nikita to see how big he is now and to fill the time gap. My last post was when he was 9 months and now he is 14 months. ahhh time flies so fast!

TEN MONTHS OLD
I still remember that day. It was 8th of March. We were in Moldova and in Moldova on that day people celebrate International Women's day. We had a great day out, took lots of nice photos and after we went to my sister's house to celebrate the day. We had a day full of laughter, joy and happiness.

Nikita Is 9 Months Old

Our Nikita has been on the "outside" as long as he has been on the "inside" and this feels like a huge milestone for us. When he was in my tummy I was always wondering when I will be able to finally hold my baby and now when he is 9 months old I am wondering how quick my little baby grows up. It's amazing watching him grow and develop.

Nikita is an easy-going baby and most of the time he is cheerful, smiley baby. His cute smile makes us so happy. We love our sweet little boy so much. He is the most special tiny human & life is so beautiful with him in it.

Nikita likes:
- To grab and play with things he shouldn't
- To put everything into his mouth
- Reading books
- To tear mama's magazines
- Rolling all over the place
- Bath time
- Clapping his hands when his mama singing "ladushki, ladushki gde byli...?"  (It's a Russian clapping song.)
- Being outdoors
- To smile when I am not allowing him to grab something that he shouldn't
- Crawling all day long

Nikita dislikes:
- Being in the same place for too long
- Getting dressed

- To change his nappy

Nikita is growing ...

Hello my loves!  I haven't posted to my blog since November 2016 and I feel like I have been gone forever. I am so glad that I found few minutes to write this post. Also, I want to thank to those who keep writing me and asking if we are okay. We are absolutely fine, the problem is that I have no time like I had before, but I am very active on Instagram and I am sharing there lots of our everyday photos. I love Instagram so much. It's the fastest way to share your favourite photos with your friends. It's like a mini blog and I found lots of fantastic mamas there and I love reading their stories direct from my phone.

So, here I will share some photos and let me know if my baby changed since my last post. Now he is 8 months old, but in 4 days he will be 9 months old. Ohhhh I just can't believe my baby is almost 9 months old.

My Baby Is Six Months Old

I am little bit late with this, but I still I want to write here that two days ago (8 November 2016) our little Nikita turned 6 months old. It is so hard to believe that 6 months ago he was in my tummy and now this little man can stand or sit up by himself. Ahhh I feel so happy and blessed that God chose me to be his mama. I love you sooooooo much my smiley baby.

Happy half first birthday, my little man!

Three Weeks In Italy

We (three of us) were on a road trip through Italy. We drove from North to South and stopped in Sicily for 10 days. I loved Sicily so much. Food and people are amazing there. All people were smiling to our little boy and he smiled back to them. The weather was really warm (highest+32 end of October) and we were enjoying sea bathing so much while our baby was sleeping in his stroller. On 24th of October our little Nikita had his first sea bath ever and he enjoyed it so much. I love to share all my special memories on INSTAGRAM and someone on Instagram asked me how is traveling with a baby and my answer was short: " so much fun and not too easy." Our little baby loves exploring, discovering and smiling to new people and for him this trip was a great experience and for us as well.

In Sicily we visited:
- San Vito Lo Capo (small holiday resort with a great beach)
- Spiaggia di Mondello (nice sandy beach but crowded)
- Trappeto (we stayed here)
- Castellammare del Golfo (an attractive seaside town with breathtaking views)
- Erice (a small medieval town situated at the top of a very steep mountain)
- Riseva Dello Zingaro (a fantastic place to explore and enjoy and a private beach)
- Isola delle Femmine (a quiet and beautiful town in North-West of Sicily)
- Palermo (the Capital of the Island)
- Lungomare Lido Valderice (here our little swimmer had his first sea bath)
- Taormina (a hilltop town on the east coast of Sicily)

Happy 5 Months, Baby Nikita!

You are the most delicate soul, the sweetest and kindest baby. From the moment you were born you filled our hearts with so much love. We are so blessed to have you here, with us, and every day. You are growing so so fast and it makes us so happy to know you are growing well, but we also want you to stay this little . It's been such a challenging few months but you have given us such an adventure. Creating new memories is our favourite part of this parenthood and we look forward to creating more memories together.

At 5 months you love:
- looking at yourself in the mirror;
- reaching out for toys (things) you love;
- reading books with your mama;
- your feet and pull your socks off and suck your toes as often as possible;
- talking to your mama and tata;
- taking your soother out of your mouth and put it back in by yourself;
- smiling to everyone;
- making nice loud noises;
- "Old Macdonald had a farm" song;
- splashing the water in the bath;
- playing with bunica's earrings;

Nikita's First Teeth

I just discovered that my Nikita has his two bottom front teeth and surprisingly they don't seem to bother him at all. I think this is VERY early to have teeth. He is 4 months old, actually almost 5, this coming Saturday he will be 5 months old. Anyone else had a teething baby at 4 months old?
I am sooooo surprised and very happy!

DIFFERENCES

I enjoy my little man so much and I just can't believe he is already this big. He was so tiny when we brought him home. I love looking at those pictures when he was so little. He is still so tiny and has so many things to learn. It is amazing to see him grow. It is amazing to see him doing different things every day. It is amazing to grow, to learn and see the world together.

tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

I love to share what I love. I love to share what makes me happy. I love to share precious moments from our life. I love to share my thoughts. I love to share the books I read. I just love to share moments. Today I would love to share few thoughts about the book I have finished to read a few days ago. This is one of the most touching books I have ever read and I would love that everyone of you could find this book and read it, believe me, you will love it. This book will open your heart and it will make you a better person.
Some of my favourite lines:

"Dying," Morrie suddenly said," is only one thing to be sad over, Mitch. Living unhappily is something else. So many of the people who come to visit me are unhappy."
Why?
"Well, for one thing, the culture we have does not make people feel good about themselves. We're teaching the wrong things. And you have to be strong enough to say if the culture doesn't work, don't buy it. Create your own. Most people can't do it. They're more unhappy than me - even in my current condition.
"I may be dying, but I am surrounded by loving, caring souls. How many people can say that?"

I thought of something else Morrie had told me: "So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-sleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."

"There is no experience like having children.’ That’s all. There is no substitute for it. You cannot do it with a friend. You cannot do it with a lover. If you want the experience of having complete responsibility for another human being, and to learn how to love and bond in the deepest way, then you should have children."

"Love wins. Love always wins."

"The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in."

"I give myself a good cry if I need it. But then I concentrate on all the good things still in my life. On the people who are coming to see me. On the stories I'm going to hear… Mitch, I don't allow myself any more self-pity than that. A little each morning, a few tears, and that's all."

"When I have people and friends here, I'm very up. The loving relationships maintain me."

"Everyone knows they're are going to die, "he said again, "but nobody believes it. If we did, we would do things differently."

"Invest in the human family. Invest in people. Build a little community of those you love and who love you."

"Forgive yourself. Forgive others. Don't wait, Mitch. Not everyone gets the time I'm getting. Not everyone is as lucky."

"Death ends a life, not a relationship."

Be good with you, be good with everyone and do good things to others!
Much love
Liuba
